Thanksgiving part 2
Saturday Jan 03, 2026
Saturday Jan 03, 2026
Preached by Apostle Sydney Quaye, the Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church.
In “Thanksgiving – Part 2,” Apostle Sydney Quaye shows that thanksgiving is not a year-end ritual but the believer’s daily lifestyle and God’s will. From Ephesians 5:20 and Colossians 1, he explains that thanksgiving is God’s answer to worry, fear, and life’s uncertainties. We don’t thank God for bad situations, but in all things, because He has already given redemption, forgiveness, qualification, and victory in Christ. With this mindset, believers learn to wake up grateful, face challenges confidently, and declare “He always causes us to triumph,” making thanksgiving their first response — not an occasional reaction.
Apostle Sydney also brings thanksgiving into practical relationships — thanking God continually and thanking people intentionally — spouses, parents, children, friends, and helpers. Gratitude matures the heart, preserves joy, and keeps believers from entitlement and frustration. The message closes with Ephesians 1: God’s plan for us is a praising and glorious life, meaning the year ahead will end in praise and glory, no matter what comes. Thanksgiving is not seasonal — it’s how people who already have the victory live.

Thanksgiving part 1
Friday Jan 02, 2026
Friday Jan 02, 2026
In “Thanksgiving – Part 1,” Apostle Sydney Quaye teaches that thanksgiving is not optional for the believer — it is a commanded response to who God is and what God gives. Thanksgiving begins with recognizing the Giver, then the gift, and finally what the gift produces in your life. Using worship in Israel’s battles as an example, he shows that praise and thanksgiving were not emotional moments, but weapons of preservation, causing God to cover, protect, and return His people home safely. When God is acknowledged as good, thanksgiving flows naturally — because His goodness is the foundation of every victory, every provision, and every new beginning.
Apostle Sydney reveals three cardinal gifts that deserve continual thanksgiving:
1️⃣ The Life of God — received at salvation, making the believer an overcomer and ensuring we turn out well, regardless of background.
2️⃣ The Holy Spirit — the Spirit of resurrection who quickens the body, fuels counsel, power, and wisdom, and transforms wilderness into fruitful fields.
3️⃣ The Gift of Righteousness — our unshakeable standing with God that empowers grace to work, silences condemnation, and ensures no weapon prospers.
This message calls believers to become thanksgiving addicts — waking up with gratitude, walking in gratitude, and ending every day with gratitude — because thanksgiving activates what God has already given and positions you to live boldly, confidently, and victoriously

Wisdom for Living Part 2
Thursday Jan 01, 2026
Thursday Jan 01, 2026
Preached by Apostle Sydney Quaye, the Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church.
In “Wisdom for Living – Part 2,” Apostle Sydney Quaye continues showing that life is God’s gift, but living well demands responsibility and discipline. Building on contentment, forgiveness, and focus from Part 1, he adds diligence—insisting that many believers pray for power yet refuse to work, plan, or set goals. From Colossians 3:23 and Ecclesiastes 10:10, he teaches that work is a gift from God, and that intelligent work requires planning, solving problems, and asking focused questions. No planning equals no progress, and waiting for miracles while neglecting effort leads to frustration and missed opportunities.
Apostle Sydney then expands wisdom into security, discipline, giving, and gratitude as pillars for a meaningful life. Wisdom means staying alert in a dangerous world, maintaining your health, planning your finances, adapting to change, and valuing your time and family. It also means practicing consistent giving—money, care, honor, and empathy—and maintaining a heart of thanksgiving in all seasons, which guards the soul from anxiety and entitlement. This message challenges believers to stop blaming circumstances, rise above carelessness, and live wisely, work diligently, give generously, and stay thankful—because wisdom is profitable to direct.

Wisdom for Living

Wednesday Dec 31, 2025
Preached by Apostle Sydney Quaye, the Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church.
In “Wisdom for Living,” Apostle Sydney Quaye shows that life is God’s gift, but living well is your responsibility. From Colossians 3:23, he teaches that whatever you do—marriage, work, business, ministry—must be done as unto the Lord, not for applause, comparison, or human approval. He warns that many believers are frustrated not because God failed them, but because they approach life casually, without discipline, planning, or seriousness. Before asking for breakthroughs, we must take responsibility for our own lives.
Apostle Sydney outlines three foundational pillars for living well:
1️⃣ Contentment — stop measuring your life by others; be grateful for what you have while growing (1 Tim. 6:6–10).
2️⃣ Forgiveness — release offenses quickly; unforgiveness cripples your destiny more than the person who wronged you (Heb. 10:16–17).
3️⃣ Focus — stop meddling in other people’s matters; mind your purpose, develop your own life, and avoid distractions (1 Peter 4:15).
This message calls believers to take life seriously, guard their hearts, work diligently, honor God in their daily responsibilities, and practice wisdom—because life is one, and you cannot afford to play with it.

Leadership Management
Tuesday Dec 30, 2025
Tuesday Dec 30, 2025
Preached by Apostle Sydney Quaye, the Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church.
In “Leadership (Management),” Apostle Sydney Quaye teaches that true leadership begins with managing what is natural before asking God for what is supernatural. From Luke 16, he explains that God never commits “true riches” to someone who mismanages money, time, family, work, or responsibility. Management was the first assignment given to Adam—not prayer, not worship—showing that leadership requires planning, organizing, discipline, and responsibility. A man may be anointed, gifted, and prayerful, yet lose ministry, family, or opportunities simply because he failed to manage what he already had. Leadership grows through maturity: honoring time, honoring relationships, managing your spirit and soul, planning for change, and refusing laziness or entitlement.
Apostle Sydney breaks management into five practical priorities: spirit, soul, time, finances, and change. He urges believers to plan their prayer life, protect their minds from unnecessary influences, refuse time-wasting habits and associations, and learn how money works for you instead of you always working for money. Finally, because life constantly changes, leaders must adapt and grow—improving skills, updating attitudes, and adjusting to new seasons at home, work, and ministry. This message calls every believer to stop waiting for breakthroughs and start managing what God has already trusted them with, because how you handle the natural determines what heaven places in your hands next.

Leadership Attitude
Monday Dec 29, 2025
Monday Dec 29, 2025
Preached by Apostle Sydney Quaye, the Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church.
In “Leadership Attitude,” Apostle Sydney Quaye teaches that leadership is not a title, gift, or anointing first—it is maturity of attitude. From Colossians 3:23–24 and Galatians 4, he shows that many believers remain “heirs behaving like slaves” because they refuse to grow up in character. Long prayers, gifts of the Spirit, visions, and miracles can accompany maturity, but they are not proof of maturity—attitude is. He exposes childish reactions like anger, unforgiveness, pride, blame-shifting, gossip, entitlement, and waiting for human reward, showing how these keep even anointed people living below inheritance.
Apostle Sydney then walks through everyday maturity markers: doing all things as unto the Lord, forgiving quickly, refusing offense, honoring parents without superstition, speaking truth without malice, avoiding class-based pride, treating people kindly, walking in love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control. True leadership shows up in the home first—in how one treats spouse, children, and responsibilities—before ministry or public honor. This message calls you to drop excuses, reject childish reactions, and consciously adopt the attitude of those who truly serve Christ and lead by example, proving maturity not by power, but by character.

Sure Mercies
Wednesday Dec 17, 2025
Wednesday Dec 17, 2025
Preached by Apostle Sydney Quaye, the Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church.
In “Sure Mercies,” Apostle Sydney Quaye unveils mercy as far more than pity for sin: it is when God does for a man what he cannot do for himself—setting laws aside to give him the good he does not deserve, even when judgment is due. Using the courtroom picture, he explains how a guilty person can be legally condemned by the law, yet the judge chooses leniency; that is mercy. In the same way, God calls Himself “gracious and merciful,” and in Christ has given us what Scripture calls “the sure mercies of David”—an everlasting covenant where goodness and mercy are guaranteed, not unpredictable.
Apostle Sydney shows from Isaiah 55, Acts 13:34, and Psalm 23 that these sure mercies are a resurrection benefit and a daily reality: we are the ones mercy has chosen and given “the choicest” in life—health, preservation, favor, open doors and victories in battle, like David before Goliath. Even when every natural law is against us—age, background, experience, family history—mercy overrides the laws, chooses us out of the crowd, and sets a table before us in the presence of our enemies. This message calls you to bury fear and anxiety, put your name where “David” is, and boldly walk through every season declaring: “Surely, goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life—these are the sure mercies of God at work in me.”

Anchor of Christ (Rev Dr. Stephen N. Gapson)
Tuesday Dec 16, 2025
Tuesday Dec 16, 2025
In “Anchor of Christ,” Rev. Dr. Stephen teaches that right believing is the root and right living is the fruit. Instead of trying to fix bad behavior by preaching more rules—as religion often does—he shows from John 6 and John 3 that Jesus redirects us from “What must we do?” to “What must we believe?”. Wrong living persists because people don’t believe right; when we anchor our faith in Jesus and His finished work, condemnation lifts and true transformation follows.
Using the picture of a ship’s anchor, he explains that in a world where everything changes—money, health, emotions, even ministries—Christ alone is unchanging, immutable, and permanent. From 1 Corinthians 1:30, he reveals Jesus as our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption: Christ is the measure of our wisdom (insight into reality), our right standing with God, our uncommon holiness, and our restoration from every loss. As we fix our joy, hope, and faith on this unshakable Anchor, we enjoy peace, quiet assurance, and stability in every storm of life.

My Heritage - Partakers of the Holy Spirit
Monday Dec 15, 2025
Monday Dec 15, 2025
Preached by Apostle Sydney Quaye, the Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church.
In “My Heritage – Partakers of the Holy Spirit,” Apostle Sydney Quaye unveils one of the believer’s greatest inheritances: you are not just someone who has the Holy Spirit, you are a partaker of Him. From Hebrews 6 and Philemon 1:6, he shows that our faith becomes effective when we acknowledge every good thing in us in Christ—God at work in us, Christ in us, the kingdom of God within, the Greater One in us, treasure in our earthen vessel, and the power of God actively working inside us.
He then demonstrates that this is not only for church moments, but for everyday life—wisdom, creativity, excellence, problem-solving, and influence in the marketplace. Using Joseph, Daniel, Bezalel, and Aholiab, he shows how the Spirit of God made them ten times better, master craftsmen, prime ministers, and national saviors—and declares that the same Spirit equips believers today to excel as doctors, lawyers, designers, engineers, students, and leaders. This message calls you to drop excuses, ignore limiting “family patterns,” and consciously walk in your true heritage: a full partaker of the Holy Spirit in every area of life.

Revelation in Resurrection
Saturday Dec 13, 2025
Saturday Dec 13, 2025
Preached by Apostle Sydney Quaye, the Global Lead Pastor of Shekinah Avenue Church.
In “Revelation in Resurrection,” Apostle Sydney Quaye takes you beyond the Easter story into what really changed for the believer when Jesus rose from the dead. From Ephesians, Romans, and Colossians, he unveils that the resurrection is not just Christ’s victory—it is your legal inclusion in His death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and seating. When He died, you died to the old life; when He rose, you rose to a new creation; when He sat down, you were seated with Him far above principalities, powers, curses, and every negative name that can be named.
Apostle Sydney then highlights how the Spirit of resurrection now lives in your body for health and preservation, works in your dreams and requests to do “far beyond all you ask or imagine,” and fights for you by placing you in a position of authority, not victimhood. This message will challenge small thinking, dismantle fear of “family patterns,” and stir you to believe, speak, and walk as someone already raised and enthroned with Christ—energized by resurrection power in your everyday life.
